FEEL LIKE
I FEEL LIKE GETTING BUTT NAKED
& SEEING MYSELF 4 THE 1ST TIME
I FEEL LIKE PARADING IN MY
BRONZE BIRTHDAY SUIT
NOT AFRAID 2 SHOW THE WORLD
THE REAL ME
I FEEL LIKE NOT CARING TODAY
I FEEL LIKE NOT WORRYING
I FEEL LIKE NOT LISTENING
A COMPLETE SHUTDOWN OF MY SENSES

The Perfect Rhythm
Today I open my heart to you
Taking another step along the journey God has blessed us with
A journey that began with tender adolescent hearts
Dancing awkwardly and uneasily looking for the perfect rhythm.
With baby steps, we dance and stumbled,
Grooved and stomped,
Twisted and turned,
Slowly making the dance of a lifetime
Me, working if I was off best
You, trying not to step on any toes
But somehow always managing to stay entwined in each other arms
No matter what the song: a slow love lullaby, an up tempo romp
Our feet and hearts were always in step
Young spirits freshly touched by the elixir of love soon emerged
Into mature longings for a deeper connection of hearts and minds
It is this connection that has led me to glory of this day, this moment
The moment where I have finally found you, the gift the God has saved just for me
You have made this sojourn more than a respite between this life and the next
But by offering your embrace, your kiss, your mind, and your soul – you have given me a lasting home.
So today I take your hand as we step onto the floor, dancing forever, having already found our perfect rhythm.

The Torch
darkness once ruled our world
lost and alone in this infinite wilderness
we could not find our way
until we saw the light.
there was no one around to guide us
no one to hold our hands
our vision and our soul stained with ignorance
until we saw the light.
then you appeared
providing your love and guidance
lighting for us the torch –
ending our voyage of darkness
leading us to the eternal delta light
